Cloudy yellow/orange ochre with huge frothy head that is long and leaves lacing. Nice tropically fruity aroma, malting under this, vanilla, spices, bit soapy. Crisp feel, light body, slight bitterness with sweetness from fruits that stays to finish, peaches in flavor, good carbonation. Easy to drink, refreshing, great one for hot day, enjoyed!

caesar (5549) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 22, 2014
Bottled from Emelisse, BB 06 15, large sample, served in a trappist glass. Hazy golden to orange color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma is spicy, bit peppery, some citrus, slight garlic and onion, slight cheesy. Bit bitter in taste, somewhat dry, slight hint of caramelly sweetness. Finish leaves a lingering quite bold bitterness. The onion note reminds me of simcoe. Medium body, medium carbonation. The bitterness is actually a bit too much, therefore not making it crisp and dry, but almost astringent.

Douberd (2950) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - MAY 18, 2014
Bottle 330 ml at home, bought recently at the brewery, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 4.6% Dark orange golden colour on the body with a good sized white head, thick, with very good retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass. Aroma is fruity, peachy, yeast, grapes, a faint funk. Taste also fruity but floral too, light malty, peaches, light yeast, nicely bitter. Medium thin body, right amount of carbonation, mildly dry palate. Overall very nice and highly drinkable beer.

Bottle from lumo. Yellow, with haze. Citrusy, slight dried, grass, hayish malts and meadowy notes. Dry, light body, well carbonated, leading to a slightly hard mouthfeel. Nice simple, but refreshing flavours. Seems traditional, refreshing.

Bottled. Full 33cl sample. The aroma has citrus, flowers, bit cheese. Hazy, yellow coloured beer with a thin, white head. The taste is moderate bitter, seems a bit funky, bit earthy, citric. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Finishes dry. Nice and refreshing. Fantastic for a 4.6%

Marstonlad (525) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 5, 2014
Pours cloudy golden with a huge, frothy white head. Aroma has plenty of grass and herbs with some citrus fruitiness and an earthy undertone; it offers something from both yeast and hops. Taste is very dry and crisp, also a bit tart and sour. Flavours are fairly strong for a beer that is this mild. Grassy, herbal spiciness features with some grainy maltiness providing the background. The palate is light to medium bodies, moderately carbonated, not watery. This goes down as a success: very fresh and much depth in taste considering the mildness.
