Bottle 33cl. Hazy orange with a big offwhit head. Nice aroma of oak, hops and some nice freshness. Smoked malt is clearly present in the taste complemented with a rich body and a nice hoppy finish. Great beer.

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy brown amber beer with good creamy head. Nose is very nice on hops resin and light smoked notes that gives a kind of vanilla / caramel notes which is very nice. Aroma is medium malty, mostly dry, smoked background that goes well with hops resin and pine notes, very subtle mix, relative bitterness. Finish is on dry caramel that lead to a dry and pure smoked note, very nice.

Poured from a bottle. Cloudy with a nice solid head. The smokiness is definitely there, but not overpowering. Creamy mouth feel and a beautiful hoppy aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle, pours hazy golden brown with a small white head with flecks of yeast in the glass. Aroma in the nose has smokey rauchbier style notes, with caramel an rye malts and generous amounts of citrus hops. Quite a complex array of styles in the aroma which are married together well and there is good balance. Palate is rich the finish is balanced. Carbonation average. Nice beer.

Bottle. Golden, cloudy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and some tropical fruitiness, faint smokiness - roasted malt, citrus and some piney hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, light caramel and light fruitiness, citrus - some piney hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty and lightly sweetish, faint smokiness - roasted malt, light caramel and fruitiness, lots of citrus - some piney hoppyness. Well hopped IPA - not too sweet. Not so smoky though.

MoritzF (8389) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAY 31, 2014
(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Cara-malty nose with a whiff of dough and smoke, accompanied by delicately fruity and piney hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly cara-malty start with hints of rye, combined with slightly grapefruity and delicately piney hoppy touch, lingering into the dry and slightly smoke-malty finish. Interesting brew. 01.IV.14

Pours amber colored with creamy, high white head. Smell has some smokes malts, grains and fruity hops. Starts with smoked malts, some rye notes and a slight fruity bitterish hop note. Middle part has some bread, floral hops and a light smoked flavor. Finish is smokey, slight sweet malty with floral hops.
