Dark honey coloured with tiny cream head. Aroma is fermented raisins and pine. Alcohol is also noticable. First taste is sweet and caramel, but is followed by an intense bitterness that grows in the aftertaste. The mouth feel is tart and I don't find it very pleasant. Alcohol dominates in the after taste as well. Not my cup of IPA.... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep cloudy gold colour. Small head quickly dissipates. Aromas of grapefruit, grains, some booze, malts. Taste is quite sweet initially, grapefruit marmalade, sweet malts, then the tartness sets in and finishes fairly dry but with some residual sweetness. Medium bodied. Quite good.

Drank with Rik in Cafe Hoegaarden 21-8-2014. It’s like a richer version of De Molens IPA. Heavy as well, alcohol taste and warmth is present. Aftertaste is dry and bitter. Body is very good, with ’soft carbonation’.

Triple ipa hollandaise, une amertume extrêmement puissante. Gros dépôt. Peu de parfums se déploient réellement au final.

Aroma: heavy caramel, heavy citrus and grapefruit/orange. Appearance: cloudy orange, average creamy white head. Taste: moderate sweet. Palate: full body, soft carbonation, average-long bitter finish. Overall: very sweet aroma, fantastic IIPA, nice bitter finish. Pint at the GBBF 2014, Kensington.

Keg. Hazy dark amber, small white head with dense bubbles. Aroma is rhubarb, caramel. Body is medium, light carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is sweet toffee, dry biscuity malt, herbal, tangy marmalade. OK, but I wasn’t that fussed on it.

Really quite impressive. Big depth of flavour but never overdone despite its 10%. Funky old hops and toffee tell the story, with a touch of fruity sweetness to finish.
