thin yellow beige head that disappears quite quickly with little lacing. dark amber clear colour. aroma of hops, caramel, sweet fruit. tastes alcohol sweetness, tutti-fruti with a sweet aftertaste followed by a long hop resin bitterness. quite dense body, soft carbonation and thick mouthfeel. 33 cl / lot A / best before 3/2014

Bottle. Pours hazy dark golden, with a creamy head. Aroma is roasted malts and grain, with some orange peel bitterness. Full creamy body, with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter with citrus and orange peel, but also some malty grains and notes of alcohol.

Pours hazy amber colour with head that disappears quickly. Aroma is musty, hoppy, pineapple, grapefruit, some sweetness. Taste is bitter from the hops, a little boozy, malty. Medium body. Might have been better if the bottle was fresh.

Bottle from Voldby Koebmandsgaard, DK - pours a beautiful fuzzy amber/orange colour with a thin but throthy head. Strong citrus fruits, pine, grass, sweet caramel malts. Great sweet/bitter balance in this, with initial sweetness and then nice boozy bitter finish. Lovely (D15)

Aroma bursts with malt and fruit with a nice caramel edge and a hint of cocoa Aroma has notes of a summer pudding made with really ripe fruits. Really full bodied. Flavour adds a big burst of bitterness and a rich lingering maltiness.

Dark honey coloured with tiny cream head. Aroma is fermented raisins and pine. Alcohol is also noticable. First taste is sweet and caramel, but is followed by an intense bitterness that grows in the aftertaste. The mouth feel is tart and I don't find it very pleasant. Alcohol dominates in the after taste as well. Not my cup of IPA.... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Looks lovely. To bad that the head wasn’t lasting very long. It smells like cherry citrus and grapefruit. The taste is heavy bitter. It has a very very long bitter finish, a bit to long. A very dry end. I get thirsty while drinking this.

Bouteille 330ml au St-Bock. De couleur ambrée et quasi-opaque. Nez de houblon fruité (agrumes, marmelade, léger d’abricots, traces de fraises), moyennement résineux, citrique et herbeux, de caramel sucré avec des notes de biscuits et quelques traces de grains grillés. Moyenne-ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-doux ainsi qu’avec une texture moyennement huileuse et aux petites notes résineuses. Goût amer de houblon fruité (agrumes, abricots, notes de marmelade), moyennement citrique, légèrement herbeux et résineux (une amertume présente toute la gorgée) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût de malt sucré aux notes grillées, de caramel sucré aux faibles notes terreuses ainsi qu’avec des notes de pain puis en finale l’amertume de houblon se fait plus résineuse et moyennement asséchante et est accompagné de traces d’alcool. Post-goût long et légèrement sec, plutôt amer de houblon fruité (zeste d’agrumes, léger de pelures d’abricots), résineux, légèrement herbeux et citrique avec un léger résiduel de malt sucré. Aroma van vers brood, banaan en ander tropisch fruit. Smaak wat rokerig, scherp, wederom brood, met krachtige bitter en rook nasmaak. Weinig citrus of zoet, behoudens een ver vleugje karamel in smaak. Veel bezinksel, iets te snel ingeschonken.
