Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber, tea like colour with a small beige head. Aroma is full of malts, caramel, madeira. Flavour is quite sweet and a bit alcoholic, but again backed up by strong malty base. Even carries a bit of a hoppy bite in the end of the flavour. Long lasting, bittersweet aftertaste. Nice in balance and a great sipper!

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2014 Bottle @ home. Aroma is very deep and malty, some caramel, slight roasted malt, some bread and hops. Flavour is thick and malty with a nice hop bitterness, also some bready roasty bitterness and loads more of sweet malty notes. Some alcohol burn in the finish. Very nice.

Small offwhite head. Clear deep dark red body. Fruity caramelly earthy aroma with raisiny toffee notes. Dry-sweet toffee, caramel and dried fruit taste with wild berry notes. Full body. Slightly hot mouthfeel. Dry wild berry and fruit aftertaste with earthy oily caramelly peppery chocolatey notes. Really nice and well balanced. Highly drinkable. Bitter finish. 33cl bottle, BB 12/2013 bought at Emelisse biershop.

Pure class! Beautiful aroma of coffee, grass, red berries and several other things. Taste of licorice and a perfect level of bitterness. Lovely-looking too.
