3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by shigadeyo. Poured a dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that lasted with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted chocolate, raisins and woody sweet bourbon aroma. Medium sweet roasted malt flavor with a medium sweet and small alcohol bite finish of moderate duration. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a complex good beer.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
33 cl bottle. Dark brown, almost black body. When poured in the glass you get a small beige head. But that dissapears almost immediatly. It’s like you drink a cold coffee. The aroma is not that great, coffee that’s been on the table for a while and gets bitter with hints of dark chocolate. The taste However is great. Again coffee, dark chocolate.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Vollmundiger Antrunk, später sind Holznoten klar erkennbar. Das Bier nimmt Bockbiercharackter an und wird süßer, zum Ende auch allkohollastig. Dezent röstig, vor allem im Abgang stark malzig. /9/9/11//10

Draught on the Alvinne Craft Beer Festival 2011!
In the glass pitch black, with a good creamy head. The smell is coffee-like bitter, with lots of chocolate malts and very subtly whiskey aromas. Starts malty sweet, slightly whiskey-taste, low carbonated. Slight aromas of roasted coffee and caramel, chocolate and a little whiskey flavor. The aftertaste is short and sweet, slightly sweet malty, caramelized sugar.
