33cl bottle at home. Very dark brown with a full off-white head with quite some retention. Full body with low carbonation. Sweet with some bitter tones. Chocolate, bourbon, roasted malts, coffee, brown sugar, vanilla and dark fruits. A more then decent imperial stout from Emelisse.

Bottle BB June 2018, into a snifter at home. Black, very big foamy brown head endures and leaves some light lacing. Aroma is crayon, smoke, light vanilla, touch of petrol. Body is medium, low carbonation, foaminess makes the body seem bigger. Taste is tangy red berry and vanilla bourbon, dry and woody, salty, touch of chocolate. Finish is musty, breathy. No alcohol coming through. Good beer.

Pitch black colour, beige thick foam, which lasts. Smell is sweet, with a touch of bourbon. Little carbonation, thick body. Tastes of dark chocolate, peated also malty. Sweet taste, aftertaste is also very nice. Very good barrel aged imperial stout.

Goryczka kawowa i alkoholowa, średnia ku wysokiej, a w kontrze lekka, likierowa i waniliowa słodycz. Alkohol wyczuwalny, miło grzeje w przełyk. Nasycenie średnie, odczucie w ustach pełne. Dobre, ale jak dla mnie w smaku za mało nut od leżakowania - podobne do wersji standardowej. Warka do 06.2018r.

Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. Black with a small creamy tan head. A bit sweet with bourbon, light roasted malt, toffee. The body was thick and with low carbonation. A good one.

@ Eddan 14-8-30: tydlig söt och lite smörig doft. Smaken är tydlig söt men ändå ganska så trevlig. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

Czarne, nieprzejrzyste, z ładną drobno pęcherzykową piana. Przy nalewaniu widać, że gęste. Aromat świetny, kawa/mokka , lukrecja, burbon, po prostu bajka. Alkohol dobrze zamaskowany.

Deep dark body with tan rocky head. Aroma dominated by bourbon - vanilla and coconut - plus some roasted malts and toffee in the background. Similar flavors, vanilla and chocolate making the sweet not too strong part; coffee, roast and chocolate acidity and roasty bitterness make together for a well balanced delicious beer. Feels a bit dry at the finish, but the body’s full, creamy and sticky, low carbonation. A great BA stout, astonishing job Emelisse! Gotta find more white labels from them.

Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Black body with brown head. Classy! Aromas of bourbon, wood, some vanilla liquorice, smooth coffee, some fudge, mocha, sweet tar, dried leaves, some coal and leather. Flavour is bitter, roast, bourbon, light spice, some coffee, herbal and malt roast, some liquorice, dark roast, some coal and light tar with a soy and light brown sugery tint. Very decent but missing some smoothness. Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, roast, dark roast, light bourbon and some light liquorice tints... Low carbo, spicy light creamy mouthfeel, full bodied and a creamy texture. Nice beer but not thick enough and was hoping for a bit more perfect balance, nonetheless a good beer!
