Bottled. Pours opaque black with a medium sized, beige and short lasting, beige head, that leaves a good lacing. Aroma of slightly roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla and whiskey notes. Sweet flavor that ends up with some alcohol. Medium to full bodied, creamy texture and flat to soft CO2. A deliceus and smooth impy stout. .★★★★

Pourd dark black with a small, frothy tan head. Aroma of roast dark chocolate malt. Medium body, quite creamy sweet, low carbonation, flavour is a bit vinous with some roast malt. Dry but sweet aftertaste. Nice change from the usual Emelisse barrel aged versions.

magdalar (498) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - OCT 8, 2012
A wonderful concoction. Smells sweet, with molasses and a hint of toffee. Tastes very sweet, with a small bitterness, and a feeling of honey. Some dark berries, a black currant perhaps. Texture is silky. Mildly cloying finish. Very little carbonation. I could drink this as a desert for quite some time...

Bottle. Pours black with a partly lasting and medium lacing small creamy tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, brown sugar, licorice, peat, whisky, vanilla, dark fudge, herbs, butter, soy, booze and oak. Taste is heavy sweet, heavy bitter, a little salty. Body is full, texture is thick/creamy, carbonation is soft. Finishes sweet and with much heat and gets astringent in the far finish. Quite pleasant this one. I’ll have to look for the other B.A. versions.

Gut! /11/12/12//12
