Opaque dark brown beer, bubbly pale tan head. TCP nose but not overpowering. Palate is smooth and dry with good fine carbonation. Smooth dry dark malts. Little dry cream. Fruity whisky, not too hot. Mellow peat and mild dry dark chocolate. Dry finish. Spicy linger. For a Peated Bowmore BA, this is pretty approachable.

caesar (5323) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - SEP 21, 2014
Bottle from Burg, BB 09 2015, large sample, served in a snifter. Dark brown color, short brown head. Aroma of peat, red fruit, roasted malts, bit coffee and chocolate. Bit sweet, bit dry, peaty again. Finishes more chocolatey, smooth, but also with a dry peaty note. The peat seems to be mellowed down, or other versions have much more. It still is quite peaty and it does overpower the basebeer, which usually can hold quite some, but it is not that astringent and medicinal iodine as some other whisky.

Bottle - huge peat and smoke with some dark malts. Deep brown with a thin beige head. Rich peat and smoke, dark molasses and more peat. Wonderfully dark and rich, an absolute bomb of peaty goodness.
