Amsterdam. Bottle in my hotel room. Opaque black -brown beer with a decent tan head. Palate is light and airy. Minerally carbonation. Rich dark malt with good rich dark chocolate. Powerful bourbon and bourbon spice. Somewhat tempered by vanilla oak. Finishes soft and rich. Pretty much spot on! Just needs a little time to take the edge off!

Bottle. Trade with Kermis. Thanks. Pours black with a creamy large head and lacings. Nose is oak, chocolate and coffee roast. Taste is lovely - roast, coffee, lots of chocolate and vanilla. Sweet and vinous without ever getting too cloying. Dope.

Bottle, at Haand Festival -14. A really dark brown beer, topped by a small, beige head. Almost clear, and quite oily pour. The aroma has booze, chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. Not so much aroma of the Wild Turkey, just the alcohol. That goes for the flavor too, it’s roasted tending towards burnt, with chocolate and dark coffee. Full body, lightly warming and soft on the palate. Lasting finish with lots of dark malts and a solid dash of booze. Pretty lovely this one. 140523
