11.2 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark mahogany with tons of sediment and almost no head. Aroma of butterscotch upfront, candied sugar, and buttery malts. Flavour is very sweet, with butterscotch, candied sugar and buttery Belgian malt - the candied sugar lingers without becoming too cloying. Solid winter-style Belgian Strong.

High alcohol Belgian strong. Malty character also fruity with Belgians favorite candy sugar.

Bottle @ DØE Syd. Unclear dark amber with small tan head. Aroma is malt, fruit and caramel. Flavour is malt, fruit, caramel, little smoke, yeast, little meat, medium sweet and a little toffee.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are candy sugar, yeast, caramel, malt and hops.

Bottle at home. Almost clear brown pour with tiny tan head. Aroma of malt, dark fruit, plums, raisins and chocolate. Flavour is chocolate, dark fruits, caramel and a certain sickly sweetness. Low carbonation and a little thin.

Pours reddish brown. Aroma of yeast, dark fruits and raisins. Same can be said of the flavour. Also, this is a bit sweet. The candy sugar is obvious in this one.

Bottle. Pours brown with a thin beige head. Aroma of dark fruits (figs/raisins), sugar, alcohol and a hint of earth. Similar flavor with a hint of chocolate.

Aroma is very sweet and stale with lots of burned sugar, some dark fruits and raisins. Flavour has stinging alcohol, some solvent and raisins. Alcohol starts to come even more through towards the end of the glass and becomes sinol-like. Way too sweet and alcoholic. Like a doppelbock with vodka.

Pours a hazy dark brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma of strong candi sugar, raisins and some stuffy maltiness. Flavour of strong alcohol, raisins, candi sugar, chocolate and some malts. Medium bodied, watery mouthfeel and a really long disturbing alcohol finish. Way too sweet and messy and alcohol dominates pretty much everywhere.

Pours clear copper color with almost no head. Aroma of very sweet malts, caramel, yeast, mild ripe fruits and spices. Flavor of sweet malts, sugar candy, ripe fruits, caramel and toffee. Sadly some alcohol comes through also. A bit unpleasant and overly sweet.
