Even more clarity in this beer than the pilsener. Lemon aroma with wheat and citrus flavor. Weak body with a rotten fruit aftertaste.Tried with Dave at the brewery in April, 2012.

Hazy orange with rocky white head. Not quite your average Belgian wit look... Malty, grainy aroma, with some dry grass and white sugar. Not impressive. Balanced taste with a finish that’s more dry. Good for the style and easily drinkable but nothing too extravagant most of their other beers are. (33cl bottle, 2,00 EUR) Note: was incorrectly rated at Winterbier

fles 33cl kleur: oranje, niet helder, witte plakkerige schuimkraag geur: graan, citrus, kruiden, niet erg uitgesproken geur smaak: fris, citrus, kruiden, gras, licht bitter, vooral in nasmaak. Er springt niet iets heel erg uit.

33cl bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a generous head. The nose has natural yoghurt and some lemon. Only because I made a point of looking for it, did I feel I got some creamy oranges. The taste has more of the creamy lemon (perhaps orange) note. The palate is light to medium in body. but the texture is at least medium and the finish glides in very elegantly, yet with some persistence. Overall, I like this, it’s tasty and beautifully drinkable, but I’m confused as ever Wit I’ve had up until now had oranges and coriander in it.

Bottled, blind tasting session. Very fruity aroma, grapefruit mainly. Dark yellow color, cloudy, off-white head, few lace. Sweet, light sourness, light bitter, coreander, wheat. Medium body but finishes a bit thin.

(Bottled / Draught@Emelisse) Opaque orange-golden with a small, but firm and lacy head. The bottle seems slightly infected, so I’ll score it by the draught version. The bottle has sourish aroma with hints of vegetables and sewer, but also orange fruitiness and coriander spiciness. Flavor is not so bad, with only slight sourness, and the orange fruitiness coming up strongly. Medium body, quite refreshing, slightly fizzy mouthfeel, a bit thinner from the bottle. The draught version was a pretty standard wit, but bottled one is something else. Both were pretty good in their own way.

Bottle 30 cl. Pours a hazy yellow with a huge but fading white head and an aroma of biscuits, citrus, yeast and oranges. The taste is fruity (but not too sweet), with notes biscuits, tea, coreander, yeast and caramel. A smooth drinking but a bit sweet white. Pretty good

Looks like a Wit - cloudy amber with a good white head. More citrusy in both aroma and flavour and less spicy than a normal wit.
