Can. Medium golden, average white crown, laces a little. Aroma is nice clean grains and cut grass in the hot sun. Flavour follows suit, grainy and lightly grassy, but with a surprisingly assertive bitterness in the finish. A very nice lager.

My brother bought this when I told him to pick out a beer that "looks" the best. I guess I have to be more specific...

Pint can. Pours clear orange-amber with a respectable white head. Aroma of biscuit, caramel, hay, fruit. The taste follows that lineup pretty closely. Not quite crisp finish of oranges and bit of pine.

25 dec 2012, can. Light amber, clear, steady bubbles. Nose is caramel malt and kind of metallic. Thin body and fizzy. Really is metallic. Kind of tartly so. There is some bubble gum in there but it is tart and metallic and unpleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from 5000. Thanks Andre! It pours a very dark amber pour with a decent off white head. The nose reminds me more of an amber ale with a slight fruitiness, a touch of dough, and a light touch of hops. The flavor has a touch of butter with hints of bread and light leafy hops. A little malty for a premium lager but still pretty decent. Medium body with average carbonation and a lingering malty finish. Not bad.

Can shared by Dogbrick at Septoberfest V: Septoberfest Rises on 9/29/12. Pours clear gold with a thick off-white head. Malty sweet nose with light hop. Malty flavor with slight crisp hops in the finish.

Tall Boy Can. Pale copper colored in appearance with substantial sea foam head. The aroma blends caramel, toasted grain and medicinal hops notes. The taste starts out with some nutty malt and caramel flavors along with notes of earthy hops and apple cider. The body has some light creaminess to it with heavy carbonation and more malt sweetness and grains in the finish. A good beer to pair with spicy food and BBQ

Sample at the brewery taproom. The beer is a clear pale amber color with a medium off-white head that evaporates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of pale malts and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of bready malt, caramel and mildly bitter hops. The finish is semi-sweet malt up front with a grassy hops aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Can:   Amber, translucent, a bit fiery, large frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Somewhat of a musty corny straw/hay/grassy nose.   Very much similar on the tongue, not too sharp, a bit metallic.   Has a straw/hay/grassy aspect, but it also seems a bit waxy and metallic.   Not as crisp and clean as other examples.   The underlying dirty straw/hay and corny aspects aren’t my favorite.   Needs to be more crisp, clean, and without the dirty straw/hay/grass notes.   Its not a bad beer, but the flavor profile doesn’t do much for me.   Needs to be brighter.   Comes across as very dull.   Hard to think that people could drink one of these after the next given its a little heavy and not as crisp/bright as I would have hoped for the style.   I’ve had better.
