3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at the brewery taproom. Pours a clear dark orange-amber color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and subtle bourbon. Medium-bodied with an oaky character and notes of caramel and toasted malt. The finish is short with a touch of bourbon remaining in the aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Nose of wood and whiskey. Sweet smelling, not much beer really as a lager woudlnt be the first thing I would think about aging in a whiskey barrel. Pours golden amber, thin head. Flavors of whiskey, wood, caramel, thin watery, bourbon finish. Moderately carbonated. Not my favorite.

Amber in color, clear with a thin white head. This was on tap at the brewery. Lager aged on Dry fly whiskey barrels. Nice Bourbon and malt aroma. Big flavor filled with bourbon and light oak. This was a very nice beer.
