Just found some tasting notes from a 2011 trip to the beach. Poured golden amber with a medium-sized white head. Moderately hopped; mildly malty. Good bitter/sweet balance. Easy drinking.

Clear gold with a thin white head. Mild aroma of sharp hops. Flavor is well balanced: soft hops and sweet malt. Not a bad beer.

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2009 Love their beers this one is great with seafood.Good hop bitterness but with a sweet overtone that lingers on the palate. Very refreshing,

Better than your average pale ale, and hoppy, but not in an unpleasant way like too too many pale ales. My preference is that this one is better than the Pilsener due to its better flavor and more complex palate.
