An excellent brown ale; one of the best I've had. As with all their beers, it was served too cold, and in a cold glass. I had to ask for a warmer one. Has exactly the appearance I would ask for in a brown. Has the requisite light caramel and toffee flavors with just a touch of butterscotch (diacetyl). Sweetish dark lingering finish. Very appropriate hopping. The best beer for its style that I tried here.
