4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 ChrisTurner (204) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - FEB 4, 2007
Bottle -- This beer would make an excellent picture postcard for NZ! It pours with a beautiful thick, creamy off-white head (with excellent retention) and a glowing cloudy amber colour. The aroma is floral hoppy and made me want to dive right in! Then the flavour... wow! A wonderful balance of hoppy bitterness and malt. An excellent IPA.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Phil (175) - Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2007
This is the beer that I like! Hoppy to the front, jump out of the glass hoppiness, great colour, great body, I really like this stuff! The impression that these high hop notes leave is outstading. I get the impression that they either use a hopback, or lots in dry somewhere.

Not the prettiest beer I’ve ever looked at, but then some of the prettiest beers have tasted like turds covered in burnt hair. The flavour explosion is like Twisted Hop Centennial but with carbonation and a head that lasted almost to the bottom of the glass. The lingering aftertaste was still with me half an hour after I left the restaurant as well as the satisfaction of having spent too much money on a bottle of beautiful, beautiful beer.
