Orange-citrus-grapefruit hop nose. Clear copper coloured body with fine bubbled, off white head that lasts and laces. Fair citrus flavour with some underlying toasty malt character and moderate finishing bitterness. Dry, medium-light body with moderate carbonation. A very good representation of the style. Bottle sampled at RBESG 2005.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 timdom (14) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 5, 2008
We enjoyed this beer however felt it would be more suited to drinking with some food to take the edge off the citrus hoppiness. Medium bodied and creamy with a lively head and bitter cleansing finish, Would enjoy again, ideally for entree with some salt and pepper squid or similar.

Orange-rød øl.
Humlet og parfumeret smag - nærmest sæbe smag. Tydelig duft og smag af amerikansk humle.
Blev dog drukket ofr varm, så den er svær at bedømme

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Demise (57) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 27, 2009
Pours a slightly cloudy amber/ orange with an off white head. Hoppy with a robust malt nose and subtle citrus aromas coming through, as well as a caramel sweetness. Flavour is incredibly complex. Strong, bitter hops and the smooth malt flavours dominate, but the fruity flavours of citrus, pear, pineapple come through to sweeten the palate nicely, with a hint of caramel also present. Just like a good APA however, the hop bitterness lingers long after the vessel has been consumed. Pity this is no longer going to be one of Emersons seasonal releases.
