Opaque oily brown black with s amall short lasting beige head. Faint nondescript methane, generic BBQ sauce and kerosene aroma. Fluffy over mouth filling pillow soft bland palate. Medium sweetness malt, light fruit, raw alcohol, hey where is the bourbon? The poorest Emerson by far - I donít get it?

Nice dark, ruby hue. Aromas of chocolate, sweet bourbon, malt, spice, vanilla, alcohol. Flavours assault the palate (in a good way) - lots of bourbon. Smoky, cocoa, black malt bitternes. Lots of alcohol. Finishes a bit salty. I Love this beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yalnikim. Pours an almost clear orangey brown with a creamy, beige head leaving some lacework. Whisky aroma Ė rather than Bourbon Ė with roasted malt accents. Medium body with sweetish roasted malt, vanilla and some oak also. The finish is soft with a very subdued bitterness. 190608
