COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tally Ho tips its hat to the beer style, English Summer Ale – straw to golden coloured, refreshing, almost citrus and light bodied, yet the malt is present enough on the palate and balances the subtle herbaceous and citrus English hop. The kind of thirst quenching ale you might imagine supping around an English common either poured beautifully on the hand pump or refreshingly effervescent from a pub tap. Did someone mention the crack of willow? Original gravity: 1050 Alcohol : 4.9 % vol Malts : NZ Ale malt, Caramalts Hops : UK Challenger, East Kent Goldings Yeast: English Ale

Draught at the palace that is the brewery, with the brewers - thanks boys! Clean and refreshing. Damn dangerous at 4.9%, this could get you into trouble on a warm summers day. But what’s life without a little bit of trouble!

Tasting while on tap @ Regional Wines & Spirits. In a golden ale tasting alongside Townshend Cathcart NTA and Three Boys Golden this was my hands down favourite. Golden with a decent white head. Thoroughly English aromas of floral, earthy hops and that marmalade ale yeast profile (from Fullers style yeast?). Delicious biscuity malt backbone highlighted with smooth caramel malt sweetness. Perfectly balanced with the moderate hop bitterness and fruity ale flavours. Summer in a glass. Hugely drinkable -left with 2Lfor the weekend but seem to have consumed it all tonight. Another winner from Emersons.
