Commercial Description:
This is a traditional English old ale and very true to type. A strong beer, full bodied with an initial deceptive sweetness, but with hops enough to give a dry finish. It is definitely a beer to be savoured rather than quaffed. It slips down like velvet and makes an ideal partner for rich fruitcake and similar seasonal fare. Available August.

Bottled @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Aroma has sweet honey and raisin malts. Cloudy, orange coloured with an offwhite head. Taste starts (a bit too) sweet and finishes more bitter and dry. It has honey, some yeast and fruitiness (raisin).

Århus2008. 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully disappearing head. Mild spiced and light hoppy aroma. Light breadish and spiced flavour foes into a finish that is light spiced and a bit dull.
