Bottled. Many Thanks to Phil_L for this. A hazy blonde coloured beer with a huge Duvel like white head. The aroma is very hoppy. Tropical fruit and lemon. A tiny touch of acidity peeps out from the background. Lovely hoppy flavours also. Big hits of lemon, and juicy oranges. Especially full bodied for a light lager. A wonderful pilsener. Why can’t our brewers produce something this good?

Citrussy hop aroma. Palate a bit watery. Very pleasant, but a bit thin. Fruity, which is good. Thin, which isn’t. Nice summer chugger I’m sure.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2005 Great pils! Light hazy golden color with a heavy hoppy aroma and bitter taste in a medium body. had this one from a 500ml. bottle at Plan B. in CPH. DK. and it was real good, and had a bitter dry finish.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2011 Bottle courtesy of beer_ledgend. Pours gold and slightly hazy with a nice rocky white head. Smells of straw, citrus, pepper, touches of honey and apples, strawberries, hay, hints of dry crisp malt. Tastes of citrus, caramel, nicely balanced by dry pilsner malt and some peppery splashes. Lots of earthiness as the beer warms. Mouthfeel is full bodied and yields moderate bitterness. Finish is refreshing with some caramel and fruity sensations. An excellent gem of a beer!

Comments: Sharp, rather bitter pils, though not very focused in its maltiness. Quite thin and perhaps overly clean. I like how the dryness develops by the sip, but this is likeable whereas I expected the 2nd pilsner in ranking to be stunningly lovely in itself rather than for its similarities to IPAs - pils malts are so charming after all.

Clear bright golden pour with a huge rocky white head. Well-carbonated. Light fruits, floral hops, and pilsner malt were prevalent in the aroma, and blended very well together. Crisp and very clean on the palate. Floral hops blended will with the pils malt for the flavor. Very refreshing and expertly crafted!

Bottle. White creamy and long lasting head. Slightly hazy golden body. Sweet barley malt aroma with lemon notes. For a pilsener the hoppiness is quite impressive. Long lasting pleasant aftertaste.

Nice surprice this pilsener from New Zealand. It has a hazy light golden colour and a big frothy head. Aroma starts with a slight sweet maltyness, then comes the grassy hops. Flavor is fresh and hoppy with hints of grass and grapefruit.
