3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 kiwibt (55) - , - MAY 1, 2009
On Tap.
Pours clear yellow,orange.
Aroma of big saaz like hops, floral, passionfuit.
Tastes of mid malt with mid hop saaz like flavour finishing with a nice stronge bitterness.
Overall a nice pilsinser, well balanced with good bitterness, only fault is the malt finishes a bit thin. Also taste like the fermentation might have been a bit hot.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 floydian1 (542) - FNQ, AUSTRALIA - MAY 4, 2012
This is a decent German style pilsner with a crisp refreshing palate and nicely balanced sweet honey malt vs dry hop bitter flavour profile. Medium light body with average carbonation. Golden pour with white head. 500ml bottle.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 walkingstd (20) - - MAR 8, 2012
Well balanced pils, slightly weaker malt balance than expected. Citrusy hops give long lasting, satisfying taste on palate. Tried on tap and in bottle, prefer bottle as glaciers are crisper

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 beardfear (87) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUN 5, 2011
Pours a bright lemony straw colour. The head didn’t last long for this bottle. Not a strong nose: a little passionfruit, a little lager-yeast sulfur and not much else. Things get better in the mouth: fruity cascade and aromatic noble hops play out in equal measure over a biscuity malt backbone. Not a skunky as a Bohemian or German pilsner. Dry, bitter, herbal finish. Full and creamy. Carbonation is just about perfect.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 stewac01 (62) - AUSTRALIA - APR 18, 2011
Pours a hazy straw yellow with a thin, foamy head. Aromas are fresh and balanced - NZ hops upfront (passionfruit, guava and ripe tropical fruits) backed by bready and slightly sweet continental pilsner malt. Flavours are similarly hop driven and harmoniously balanced. The palate is incredibly smooth, enhanced by soft carbonation, gentle bitterness and a slightly acidic hop tang. A classic modern Pilsner.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 Maris (545) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - NOV 16, 2010
UPDATED: NOV 17, 2010 From a 330ml bottle on 17/11/2010. Has a distinct floral, bready, fruity (particularly passionfruit) aroma. Has an unbelievable amount of flavour for a pilsener, dominated by citrus fruits, more passionfruit, honey and spices. Finishes with a good dash of bitterness. Exceptionally good.

500ml bottle. Pale during the pour but colours up into a hazy amber ith a minimal white head that fades to a ring of white lace around the glass.Sweet passionfruit aroma with a citrus backdrop. Light in the mouth with mellow fruit flavours and a dry finish.

500ml bottle. Probably one of the nicest Pilsners I have had. Vibrant gold hue with creamy white head. I liked the crisp fresh citrus and floral hop aromas with a light malty bread & cracker base. The flavour is nicely balanced sweet then bitter with a dry finish. Smooth and crisp. Great stuff. Enjoyed it with a curry.
