OJB (22), Dunedin, New Zealand May 7, 2008 This beer was slightly cloudy with a pale orange amber brown colour. The aroma had crisp orange citrus fruit. There were clean fruity hop flavours, and quite strong bitterness. This was a very crisp fruity style.
bozoNZ (356), Christchurch, New Zealand May 1, 2008 Often tasted, finally rated. Light golden, full white head. Grassy, slightly bready and earthy aroma. Touch of fruits but slight hints of sulphur too. Nice cleansing full mouthfeel, citrus, grassy a touch winey with a decent crisp bitter finish - many things rolled in to one. The brewers flagship beer and fair enough RichardGretton (2495), Leicestershire, England Apr 6, 2008 Bottle@Taieri Gorge Railway, Dunedin. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is mellow, vinous, fruity and dry, and the flavour is very bitter and hopped. Overall an average strong tasting pilsner. donfardz64 (18), Wellington, New Zealand Mar 29, 2008 Pours slightly cloudy gold with about 1 cm of lingering head. Greeted with strong passionfruit armoas. Bittersweet on the tongue, passionfruit/apricot flavours stay strong to the very last drop. Excellent Pilsner. madquacker (435), Canberra ACT, Australia Jan 24, 2008 Truely glorious. A head of epic proportion. Balanced citrus and ale flavours. Not sure where the pils was though. Brilliant.
