3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 OJB (32) - Dunedin, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 7, 2008
This beer was slightly cloudy with a pale orange amber brown colour. The aroma had crisp orange citrus fruit. There were clean fruity hop flavours, and quite strong bitterness. This was a very crisp fruity style.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 bozoNZ (655) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 1, 2008
Often tasted, finally rated. Light golden, full white head. Grassy, slightly bready and earthy aroma. Touch of fruits but slight hints of sulphur too. Nice cleansing full mouthfeel, citrus, grassy a touch winey with a decent crisp bitter finish - many things rolled in to one. The brewers flagship beer and fair enough
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RichardGretton (3711) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 6, 2008
Bottle@Taieri Gorge Railway, Dunedin. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is mellow, vinous, fruity and dry, and the flavour is very bitter and hopped. Overall an average strong tasting pilsner.

Truely glorious. A head of epic proportion. Balanced citrus and ale flavours. Not sure where the pils was though. Brilliant.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 winkle (456) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 22, 2007
Bottled: Slightly hazy gold with a small lingering head + some lacing. Big fruity aroma - passionfruit/apricot/lychee. Smoothly malty and fruity. In fact the fruitiness lasts right up to the bitter finish. I ’d been looking foward to trying this for ages and am relieved to find that its good - quite good indeed.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 maeib (6398) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - DEC 17, 2007
Bottled. Many Thanks to Phil_L for this. A hazy blonde coloured beer with a huge Duvel like white head. The aroma is very hoppy. Tropical fruit and lemon. A tiny touch of acidity peeps out from the background. Lovely hoppy flavours also. Big hits of lemon, and juicy oranges. Especially full bodied for a light lager. A wonderful pilsener. Why can’t our brewers produce something this good?
