Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, honey, banana, and wheat. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of wheat.

orange gold, murky beer, fluffy head which disappears quickly. Aroma of rotting banana, some faint cloves, grassy noble hops, light sulphur. Taste bready, malty, not much cloves, grassy hops. Slick oily mouthfeel, hard to drink as a thirst quencher. Overall too much hop character coming through, more banana than cloves, no typical lemony tartness which feels so good in the sun. Pretty mediocre weisse

500ml bottle, tulip glass, BBE May 2010. Large fluffy white mostly diminishing head sits on top of a cloudy pale golden slightly orange body. Yummy aromas: spicy (clove mostly) banana peach leather dough almost moldy tangerine/oranges faint lemon. Taste is moderately sour, mildly sweet mildly bitter. Enduring, dry, palate-cleansing astringency, moderate effervescent carbonation, light side of medium bodied. Though not a standout WeissBier to me still fairly nice.

500 ml bottle Aroma: Fruity, aromatic, a little banana, a little bit pineapple. Appearance. Pale clear golden,thick white head and thick lacing that hangs in clumps. Taste; Sweet and a little bit salty with yeasty fulsomeness. Palate: medium to light body, slightly syrupy texture. Overall; A wheat beer. OK for summer parties.

Big head misty yellow colour good carbonation,aroma clove wheat strong spicy and a pungent odour though not bad.Flavour sweet sugar clove orange lemon yeast,hoppy fruit sweet and bitter flavours,finish wheat bitter sweet,passing.

Very dense and cloudy. Orange/yellow hue with a white head. Citrus zest nose with floral notes. Yeast, bubblegum and wheat are all nice and strong. A nice, sweet hops in the aroma as well. Sweet and full-bodied, much more so than some other hefeweizens I’ve tried. Beautiful caramel and toffee malt. Yeast and banana are present. Wheat and zesty hops are prominent in the flavours. No real bitterness that I detected in this bottle, and there was a bit of a film left on the palate. Overall, a bit different - but very nice!

(EBF 2008) Hazy golden color white head. Hoppy and fruity wheat aroma. Yeasty flavor, grassy, and with banana notes.

500ml BB Jul 08...bugger! Cloudy orange body, stable but small white foam. Familiar ’old’ weizen aroma; orangey citrus, vanilla, green banana, gritty pepper and spice, bit of sharpness on the nostrils. Lively carbonation, a bit sharp, enhancing the overall lactic quality of the beer, creamy texture, lingering chalky dryness. Lightly fruity body, mainly orange/lemon citrus, unripe banana, some spice and vanilla. Lingering bread on the finish, metallic bitterness. Reminds me a fair bit of some of my early attempts of a homebrewed hefeweizen. Not bad, but got far worse with age...guess i’d have to track down a fresh bottle of this for comparison.

EBF2008. It’s unclear, orange-golden with a weak head. The aroma has notes of banana, wheat, citrus and a little spice. The flavour has sweetness and notes of banana, citrus, wheat, light clove, yeast and it’s like a German hefe with a dash of Belgian wit.

Sampled at EBF08. Hazy golden. Small, white head. Pretty spicy and fresh; some bananas. Prett high carbonation.
