Wee Heavy aged in a Heaven Hill bourbon barrel inoculated with Lactobacillus.

Sampled at FoBAB 2010 (Chicago, IL). Pours a a murky brownish copper, small frothed head, dies to nothing with no lacing. Aromas are touches of cherry, vinegar, touches of funky brett and leather, oak, toffee, bread, lighter lactic acid. Initial is red fruit, sweet raspberry, cherry, funky bretty leather and dust, some lactic acid, touch of medicinal, bread, biscuits. Brett, wet oak, toast. Dry brett finish, touch of bitter tannins, lactic acid, vinegar. Ok, but I have trouble shaking that medicinal note

Sampled at FoBAB 2010. Brownish pour with offwhite head, fizzes down to nothing. Aroma of medicinal cherry, some sour fruit, a bit of funk and wet oak. Flavor is oaky and has a lot of cherry. Some caramel and toffee. Distinct fruity sourness, along with some leather and funky brett. Middle of the road sour.

Sampled @ FoBAB. Pours cloudy brown. Aroma of cherry, brett, toffee. Red fruit, funky brett, biscuits in the flavor. Average.

Sampled from the tap at 2010 FOBAB. Poured a hazy brown with an amber hue and a gray head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a slight grain note with light sour fruit and backing funk. Flavor had a light grain note with light sour berries and a hint of funk.
