On draught at the International Great Beer Expo in Uniondale. Pours amber with an off-white head. Mild aroma of malt, nuts and some weak citrus. The flavor is equally timid malt and nuts followed by some mild-moderate hops bitterness. No problems, but not very interesting either.

Tap at Good Beer - I have yet to be blown away by any amber ale, but I would definitely never turn this away at a brewpub. Very tasty. Smooth sweet malts. Some toffee and nuts. Creamy body. Quaffable with a sharp edge. Solid. Very tasty for an amber.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 coldbrewky (1158) - Saugerties, New York, USA - JUN 5, 2011
Draft at the Dutch (2) with my customary pulled pork sandwich. Glistenig amber in the glass with a tight tan head. An easy drinking amber with a light nose and lighter body. Surprisingly pleasant to drink. finish is elongated. A nice offering that is not attempting to out-do the rest with gimmick. A nice brew.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 jmulv (317) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - MAY 16, 2011
Had at Tap NY. Taste is extremely light with a bit of sweetness. No real body to speak of, goes down a little thicker than water. Not much here, but it could be a good session beer for the summer.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ben4321 (2223) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 4, 2011
Location: Sampled at the NY Brewfest on Governor’s Island, 6/19/10
Aroma: The nose is floral and citrus hops, some earth, caramel, and crystal malts
Appearance: It pours a slightly hazy amber color with a medium head
Flavor: The taste has some malty sweetness that is balanced by decent hop presence
Palate: The body is light-medium with a slightly metallic mouthfeel
Overall Impression:
This was a decent Amber beer overall. The flavor if this one is a bit muddled, and it could have been better, but it was drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BroSpud (1178) - , Massachusetts, USA - JUL 4, 2010
Part of a sampler at brewpub. I found all the brews to be better than average though I don’t remember specifics for most of them. It is worth mentioning that the sampler here is very generous with glasses that are big enough to really give you enough to form an opinion.
