Cask Handpump at the Black Lion, Salford 25/04/2010 Roast aroma. Black hoppy and fruity with a little dryness and bitterness in a crisp roast finish.

Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark roasted, burnt, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat soft. [20100425]
