Cask Handpump at the Smithfield Hotel, Manchester 15/11/2010 Some hop aroma. Beige head. Dark red coloured smooth and a little rich on the palate with a bitter and slightly dry oyster roast finish.

Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy to fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark chocolate, dusty coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101130]

Cask gravity at Pigs Ear 2010. Black no head. No condition some choc bit of smoke charcoal. Ok

From cask. Pours dark brown with a creamy head and slight off white. Aroma is dark malty and crisp hops fruity. Dark breadish note. Dark malty and breadish into the finish. Mild acidic touch.
