COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Cream Ale is carbonated with nitrogen so it cascades as it pours. This gives the beer an extremly smooth mouthfeel. It is golden in color with a crisp hop flavor and aroma.

This tasty cream ale goes down smooth with a subtly hop after-taste. Pretty good.

The appearance is clear gold, wite head. The aroma is weak, corn, pale malts. The flavor is grassy, malty, noble hops. The finish is a mix of pine and noble hop bitterness. Fairly thin and watery. Not good. Still, it is good to find an obscure style once and a while.

Nitro-tap at Maggies On The River in Watertown, NY. Served a golden color witha head that slowly fades to nice lacing. Mild aroma of bread, eith some malt sweetness and bit of fresh grain. Mild flavor of fresh grain, a muted sweetness and a trace of bitterness to a clean finish. Fairly light body, smooth and creamy. Very easy drinker, could pass for a good session beer. Nice for the style. A bit more flavor would have brought it home. Worth a try.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Corny sweet aroma with some sweet toffee-like notes. The flavor has corny notes with a light honey sweetness. Not that good.

Drat at both rattle and taproom with linh. Pours a hazy amber body . Notes of cream, dry malts, and blah huh.

This was definitely interesting. Cloudy yellow color but because of the nitrogen the head formed very slowly. Quite a visual experience. However since the head was so thick I didn’t get much of an aroma at all, mostly light hops. The taste was alright, more of a light beer. The nitrogen made a great foamy creamy head and mouth feel. Taste was a bit bland for me, there was some bitterness but I couldn’t identify what it was. Interesting beer.

Tap at Fontana’s. Poured on cask or on nitro. Very nice reverse cascade creamy butter head. Aroma is dully muted but you can get some sugar lemon drops and candied citrus. Body adds some decent bitterness to what is mostly light citrus. Great nitro/cask mouthfeel. Malty, soft, clean. Not bad at all.

Draught from brooklyneer. Poured a cloudy off yellow. Kind of not so awesome. Maybe cream ale just sucks.

Union Hall, Brooklyn tap ($6): Pours a beautiful creamy nitrogen head over a body somewhere between gold and amber, that has a cascading look when poured. Aroma is relatively straightforward, with some more hops than one would expect from the style. Bread and malts... Mouthfeel is a huge plus. This beer feels great. Not a particularly complex brew, but infinitely drinkable and sessionable.
