I don’t remember much about this one, other than that it tasted strongly of grapejuice and stale beer. Not the best of their offerings. Had on tap at the brewery. Most of their beer was pretty good, but not this one.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub. Middling mouthfeel. Dry with residual sweetness. Grape aroma. A novelty.

Draft. Pours reddish with a thin head. Aroma is like grape juice, but not quite as sweet. The flavor has grape juice, red grape skins, light grainy notes, and a nice dry finish. Not too sweet.

Pour is ruby pink and taste is dry grape... Almost like sangria, but watered down.
3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jredmond (4006) - Manhattan, New York, USA - SEP 20, 2011
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2011 Draft at rattle. Pours a Bright purple pink with no lacing. Aroma is fresh grape juice. Mouthfeel is thin and syrupy with notes of dry grapes. Simple, but to the point, and most of all original. I cannot recall the last time I tried a beer that was so uncanny to drinking grape juice.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Jow (1375) - New York, USA - AUG 8, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. pours a deep fizzy purple. looks more like a wine cooler and tastes like a spritzer not really that beerey for me. but it was quite refreshing and since i was hungover was a nice intro back to beer world.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BrewBoxer (1229) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 18, 2011
Draft. Red ruby color. Head us pinkish. Smells of strawberry, rasverry and fruit. Similar to a whear beer, but more like a hybrid between fruit and whear. Like harponn ufo rasberry hefe but more flavorful
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 murphym45 (769) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 9, 2010
On tap. Purple color with some haze, very little head. Strong concord grape aroma, not much else to it. Very smooth, light bodied, a little tart. An interesting novel beer that I enjoyed trying but probably wouldn’t want to have more than the few ounces I sampled.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 beerbill (3044) - Laurel, New York, USA - AUG 15, 2010
On tap at the 2010 NFB&WF at Martha Clara Vineyard. I’ll preface my rating by saying that I have soft spot for concord grapes. I enjoy them very much and grew them for years. Pours a hazy purple with a fizzy pink head. The flavor is concord grapes along with some mild malt. Not really getting any influence from the wheat. Effervescent and fizzy on the palate; this drinks more like a wine cooler than a beer. Not something I would drink regularly, but a nice summer refresher.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 BroSpud (1348) - , Massachusetts, USA - JUL 4, 2010
Part of a sampler at brewpub. I found all the brews to be better than average though I don’t remember specifics for most of them. It is worth mentioning that the sampler here is very generous with glasses that are big enough to really give you enough to form an opinion. This is the only sample I did not finish. It tasted like a perfectly good beer ruined by the addition of someone adding in grape juice. Not for me.
