Cask at GBBF 2006. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet grassy hoppy, and the flavor is sweet malty with nice grassy and hoppy notes, as well as light flowery notes, leading to a lightly bitter end. A nice session beer.

On cask at The Anderson. Pours a blonde colour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, yeast and lemon. Similar flavours with some barley and a little dry to finish. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. OK if a little thin.

Cask, Criterion, Leicester. Golden with a thin foam. Aromas are cereal grain with fleeting lemon tea. Floral with spices and some grassy notes. Flavours are crisp lemon with spritzy yeast and sweet apple and pear autumn fruit. Dry on the finish. Drinkable but forgettable.

Cask @ Cloisters. Very pale gold. Sweet cereal grain aroma, and some pedio. Slight phenols in the flavors do not detract so badly. Has a dry plain wood character. Soft palate. Not bad overall.

500ml Bottle conditioned. There seemed to be a hint of honey on the nose although I didn’t detect this in the taste. Whilst this was 2 months past it’s best before date, and contained a lot of sediment, it poured very clear being a pale golden colour with quite a lot of carbonation and a small short lived head. Very bitter with a rather pleasant citrus flavour. Not bad.
