An American IPA.Agressive use of fruity American hops is what this beer is all about. An intense hop bitterness, followed by a balancing hop flavor and full hop aroma. Notes of citrus and grapefruit may be detected.. This is our hoppiest beer.

This one poured a semi cloudy lighter orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of caramel malt, light dirt and herbal hops. Flavor was lightly fruity and bitter, a bit dirty and herbally. Drinkable but not good.

On tap at Dinosaur BBQ. Pours clear orangish amber with small white head. Aromas of caramel malts, grapefruit, and grassy hops. Flavors of sweet caramel malts, some hop bitterness, little bread, grapefruit, and touch of orange. Lacking bitterness and balance. Average IPA.

Tap at the Bohemian Hall: Pours amber with an off white head that has okay retention. Clean C-hop aroma. Piny, citrusy and some crystal malt huskiness. Light body. Dry and husky flavor. Lots of crystal malt. As it warms it gets more husky and slightly astringent.

Keg @ Alewife, Queens. Pours deep amber with a small white head. The nose is light honeyed bread, some mild fresh citrus, grass. The taste is nicely balanced. Honey short bread, nice malt base with hints of yellow apple. There’s an assertive bitter hop presence in the finish. Light citrus and dried grass. Smooth, easy to drink. Overall, an accomplished, balanced IPA.

On tap at the Half Pint, Manhattan - 01/03/12. Golden/Amber colour with a thin off-white head. Grapefruit and orange zest lead the citrus hop aromas. Initial sweet malt flavour gives way to the citrus fruits, grassy notes and a good level of bitterness. Medium bodied and a dry bitter finish. Decent 6/7% IPA.

Nice retention, but aroma is very subtle. The first sip lets the hops shine, this beer has a buttery feel to it that I think defines east coast ipas from their west coast counterparts. A grapefruit finish that lingers.

I don’t remember much about this one. Had on tap at the brewery. Most of their beer was pretty good.

on tap at the brew pub, poured into a cheater pint a: clear amber color, small 1/4" off white head with good retention, reduces to a cap and lacing rings. Moderatly carbonated s: pine and citrus, mild caramel, slight biscuit t: a bitter hop bomb of a beer. Mild sweetness and caramel force its way into the palate. I wish there was more hop flavor to this beer for the high amount of bitterness m: dry and sticky, I could only handle two beers before mving on.
