COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American IPA.Agressive use of fruity American hops is what this beer is all about. An intense hop bitterness, followed by a balancing hop flavor and full hop aroma. Notes of citrus and grapefruit may be detected.. This is our hoppiest beer.

On tap at Dinosaur BBQ. Pours clear orangish amber with small white head. Aromas of caramel malts, grapefruit, and grassy hops. Flavors of sweet caramel malts, some hop bitterness, little bread, grapefruit, and touch of orange. Lacking bitterness and balance. Average IPA.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, fruit and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at pony. Pours reddish amber white head. Nose and taste of malt, spicy rye, dry grain and wood. Medium body. Abrasive.

Location: Sampled at Living Social Beerfest, 12/6/2013, as Empire Crusader IPA

Aroma: The nose is mild hops, grass and floral, some caramel, citrus, and earthy notes
Appearance: Pours a clear copper color with a small head and some lace
Flavor: It is lightly sweet and light-medium bitter, not super hoppy, but a nice hop flavor
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light, with a clean feel, and a light dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was a decent example of a more British style IPA. It’s not close to being a hop bomb, but it is certainly a drinkable offering.

Pours a light orange. Has a faint lager aroma (malt and slight citrus hops). Very malty beer with a strong malt aftertaste. Taste also has some light citrus hop.

On draft. No aroma that I can find. Slightly cloudy amber color. No lacing. Flavor is tart orange. Malts are toasty caramel. Beer finishes chewy. Good argument for IPAs being broken into two styles as this is a strong East Coast IPA.

Pours cloudy golden with moderate white top. Aroma is floral and citrus hops. Taste is a bold up front floral and citrus hop bitterness with bready malts to help ease you out.

Definitely a fruitier IPA. Rather creamy for a finish. Easily my favorite from this brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This one poured a semi cloudy lighter orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of caramel malt, light dirt and herbal hops. Flavor was lightly fruity and bitter, a bit dirty and herbally. Drinkable but not good.
