On tap at the brew pub, pours amber with off white head with little retention. Nose has good malt and rye tinge, grapefruit too. Taste follows in order with nothing surprising but a solid ryePA. Yum

Poured an orangish color with aromas of light rye, some citrus and light floral hops. Flavors are the same light rye backbone with some nice citrus notes. Thanks Ray for bringing this back.

Highlight of the night. Pours dark gold with brown highlights and a small white top. Aroma is rye spice, floral hops and bready sweetness from the malt. Taste is a great balance of hop bitterness, malt sweetness and then the rye spice rounds it out.

blipp (5826) - Newark, New Jersey, USA - JUL 7, 2013
Draft. Pours golden orange with an off white head. Rye malty base, some floral hoppiness, relatively low sweetness, and light citric notes. Spot on rye profile; big enough to be the focus of the beer without being too big as to be off-putting. Good stuff.

From tap at Ginger Man. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and grapefruity hoppy. Peachy and solid grapefruity, wineous grapy too. Bitter and smooth fruity into a crisp hoppy finish.

10oz pour at Pony Bar HK. Pours a mostly clear, golden amber with some thin, eggshell head. Nose of malt, light black pepper, some light citrus. Inviting but quite mild. Flavor is better, malty, sweet, honey, lightly herbal, more citrus, mostly orange and dried lemon peel, some cracker. Medium bodied, dry finish.

Draft at pony bar HK with streets and Annie. Pours an amber golden body with white lacing. Aroma is light bitter citrus and malt. Mouthfeel is medium, carbonated with notes of extremely bitter grapefruit, light caramel base.

Boutip (4636) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 6, 2012
Draft: Poured a light brown color ale with a small foamy head with good retention. Aroma of light spicy rye malt notes with some medium bitter hoppy notes. Taste is also a mix between some medium spicy rye malt notes with some medium bitter hops notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad and easily drinkable with some complexity.

I don’t remember much about this one, but it was easily the best beer we tried from their tap list. Had on tap at the brewery. Most of their beer was pretty good.
