Cask in the Market Porter. Alround rating: Roasty malt, bit of chocolate comes in later, bit of cola but not in a bad way, hey hop. Decent mild.

Cask Handpump at the Kings Head, Huddersfield 27/11/2010 (ABV 4.2%) Roast aroma. White head. Mid brown coloured and a little fruity with a hint of dryness and bitterness in a lasting roast finish.

Cask Conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. a dark ruby coloured mild with an off-white head and lacing. A dry, smoky roasty fruity aroma. Good complexity of flavour also. Bit of booziness too. A good mild which drinks stronger than it is.

Cask, gravity, at Green Man Autumn BF ’10, Stamford, Lincolnshire. Dark reddish brown. Faint but distinctive aroma. Fruit, possibly raspberry, ash, and later some charred grain. Thin taste with gunmetal and flint. Slight dryness.
