Intense honey aroma with just a hint of cheesiness. Deep amber color. Flavor is a very nice pure honey sweetness - stops just short of cloying with the acidity balancing. Finishes a bit candy-like. Nice for dessert.

Bottle shared by hopscotch @ hopscotch’s VBN-DCTD. Pours dark golden orange color with no carbonation. Aromas of honey and alcohol. Sweet caramel and honey flavors with a small amount of heat from the alcohol. Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. A very nice mead for the money.

Bottle from Kingdom Liquors. Poured clear dark copper color with good legs. Moderate to heavy dark honey and floral aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth rich texture. Medium to heavy dark honey flavor with a rich sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Pleasing rich flavor.

Aroma of fresh honey hits you right up front. Color is crystal clear honey. Flavor is very sweet and lightly acidic to start and finishes fairly sweet. Palate is thick and slick. I could envision the honeycomb this came from as I sipped. Thanks Hopscotch.

Unclear amber of color without any head. An aroma of honey, spice and fruits. A flavor of fruits, honey and spice.

Another old rating. Aroma of sweet and sugary honey notes. Flavor not really that much alcohol. Good overall.

Still gold pour. Aroma was a packet of KFC honey. Flavor was the same with a bit of booze. Ridiculously sweet finish. Mead!

Golden colored body is still with legs. Sweet honey aroma with some alcohol in the nose. Thick and sweet taste. Honey dominates with very light floral aspects, a tinge of alcohol and that’s it. Very well done. If you like Jadwiga, then this baby is for you!
