Bottle pours amber color with no carbonation. Aroma is honey bee nectar. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is straight sweet honey. I don’t detect any alcohol in this, but catches up to you rather quickly. Very nice tasting mead. Smooth.

750 ml bottle from 2008 summer secret santa. thanks to whichever florida ratebeerian sent that box. pours still clear amber. sticky legs coat my snifter. aroma of honey and baked apples. some alcohol along with floral and fruit notes. complex in the mouth. not the sweetest mead but far from dry. super slick and easy to drink but some alcohol does show on the palate. sips a treat on this cold canadian february eve. thanks again to the mystery sender.

Bottled. An amber beer with a slight hazy. The aroam is sweet with strong notes of flowers and light notes of honey. The flavor is very sweet with notes of honey. Nice one. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Wow, don’t let that smell fool you, it is delicious. It smells like old feet, but the flavor is an instant assault of cool honey and berries. The longer you hold it in your mouth, you can focus more on the individual ingredients, making it a complex Rubik’s Cube of flavor. It’s think and heavy, you don’t need more than one glass

Warm golden, clear and flat. Bright, pure, sweet nose with loads of honey character but also figs, grapes, and dates. Inviting aroma. Viscous, thick, and slippery. Apple and honey to the max in the flavors. Simple, sweet but nice, juicy and eminantly sippable.

Golden. Still, with a slight haze. Rich sugary orangey nose with a slightly floral accent. Very honeyish. Slight acidity and orange zest accent. Soft, but kind of cloying.

Deep amber in color. Aroma is a strong molasses with a tartness to it. Alcohol is apparent. Taste is very sweet and syrupy. Thick mouthfeel. Mostly molasses and honey with a hint of green apples. I like it, but prefer Kasztelanski.

Bottle, thanks to Papsoe for this one. Nose is pungent, alcohol, honey, kerosene, garage. Mouth is silky, sugary, some spirit and calvados. Quite good, really.
