Hazy golden color. It has a glue and syrup aroma, some flowers; peculiar, but nice. Sweet flavor, there is a nice touch of honey; far from being cloying and syrupy. Different from the Danish ones (e.g. not herbal), but good.

Bottle. [After party @ Papsoe, thanks buddy] Nice pale golden color. Oily lacework in the glass. Aroma of honey, raisins, medicine, spice, alcohol. Over the palate came heavy raisins and almost herbal feel. Hide the alcohol very well. Full bodied with a flat carbonation and thick and mild alcoholic texture. Heavy sweet flavor. Spicy honey lingering finish. 7 / 3 / 7 / 3 / 15

Bottled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Sweetish, some barrel notes and prunes in the aroma. Flavour has prunes, honey and a lot of sweetness. In a pleasant way though. Nice body. Alcohol and sweetness in the end. Quite drinkable.

Enjoyed while hanging out at Redlight in Florida. I dont have a ton of Mead experience, but this is DEFINITELY what I like. SWEET SWEET SWEET. Pour was a dark golden honey color. Aroma was honey, flowers, lemon and apples. I LOVED it. Only could tolerate one glass of this at a time due to the very thick sweetness. Definitely an after dinner drink. But extremely enjoyable! Best mead I have had to date for sure!

From bottle : Pours a lightly hazy golden color with no head. Smell is Lemon, honey, sugar, plums, and lots of alcohol. Taste is unlike anything i have had before. Starts like a wine, then moves into a long drawn out sweet honey taste, that ends very thick, and leaves a thickness in the back of your throat. After about 30 seconds all the aftertaste is gone though, and you are left with just the thickness in the throat still. Very interesting, and can only be handled...by me atleast....in small amounts.

750ml bottle @Noogfest4.0-thanks gunhaver–pours no head and yellow color. Aroma is muted sweet honey, some lemon? Taste is sweet honey, some lemon/medium fruit. Smooth. One of the best meads I ever had although not my style.

Noogfest ’08. Deep gold body. the aroma was incredibly sweet with some floral and honey notes. The taste was very sweet with some pears. There was also some flowers. Finishes with strong and obvious alcohol.

At Noogfest Four-O. Pours dark orange with some haze and very high legs. The aroma is sweet and fruity with some subtle honey nuances. The flavor is sweet honey with plenty of subtlety (a requirement of a good mead for me). Strawberry and wildflowers peek through the sweetness, which lingers well beyond swallowing. Mouthfeel is sticky and smooth. Great stuff.
