Sampled at the brewpub. AU15/08.

App.: Clear straw, rim of white head. Aroma: Light grain and mash, some light honey, slightly tangy and fruity. Palate: Medium body and light carbonation. Flav.: Definite mash and some light floral honey, dry with a bit of tang, very low bitterness.

Not great, but wasn’t expecting much either!

Retired? As I’m entering this rating the beer appears retired. Should be un-retired cause it was served at the brewpub late April 2008.
In short: A yeasty entry-level blonde ale with banana esters. Bof
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Partly cloudy banana yellow, small white head
In long: Lemony hay. Light ripe banana presence. Extra-light body. Finish has a pleasant tartness mixed with a cooked vegetables and rotten fruits flavour. Unlike most brewpub entry-level beers this one is actually tasty unfortunately what it tastes just isn’t very good. At least it is tasty and not boring. I’m actually calling a so-called “light” beer tasty… That’s one of the two things I never though I would say on this web site. Ok the, while I’m at it here’s the second one… Rastacouere’s got a firm ass.

From 2002: Had this at the brewery and got a free keg for a 4th of July party. This was probably my least favorite beer they made....but it was aiming at the light style. It certainly deserves the medals, as it was much better than other light beers....but still not a good beer. Light, clear yellow with a thin watery body. A touch of hops and malt, but almost nothing there.

Sampled at the Rochester location. Pale, watery yellow. White head. Very faint aroma--perhaps some hops. Light, watery body. Bland, watery flavour. Some very light malt and hops.

excellent for a light beer... mediocre by the regular standard. A bit of flavour, thin watery body. Not sure if it was kind of fruity or it that was the remains of a different sample on my palate.
