COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
White Aphro is a Belgianized version of our popular Aphrodisiac Ale. The honey, ginger, and lavender are still added as a spice addition. It is fermented with a traditional Belgian yeast strain, and wheat malt was added, giving it a Belgian white characteristic. 5.6% ABV

On tap at Peekskill. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Lavender and a bit of citrus zest. Medium, big lavender, wheat. Sift wheat with lingering lavender and touches of sweet honey and musky yeast.

On tap at empire brewing farmstead. Pours out a pale straw color topped with a small white head. Nose is lemon citrus floral spice. Taste is more of the lemon spice citrus notes and a little wheat sweetness.

Bottle shared by someone at Mile, This is an insane spice bomb of a beer, so much intense ginger that it overpowers the entire palate. Also some lavender, peppermint, and Belgian spice sugar, awful beer

On tap @ Fools Gold. Smells superbly interesting this! Really spiced up and different. It looks really good also with a near glowing bright orangey cloudy colored body and a lacing and dotting white dense head. Lots of lavender and ginger juices! There’s also a mild saisonish funkiness with oranges, wheat and yeast. Really good. Tastes unlike any saison I’ve ever had. There’s lots of yeast apples, lavender, clementine zest, white pepper and soft ginger in the taste. Thin oily on the texture and it’s just blow average and small bubbled. Really something different this. 20.06.2015

Tap at brewery with commonmac and rosskyle and samadouche. Hazy light orange with small white head and good lacing. Citrus and banana spice nose. Sweet, citrus, pretty fruity. Has too much of a Shandy feel. Thin finish. Should probably get a haircut.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with yellowish head. The aroma has notes of spices, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, straw, and hops, leading to a dry finish.

On tap in a plastic cup. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of ginger, some light spicy yeast, some pale malts, lavender, and a light floral note. Flavor the same with too much of the added ginger and lavender for my preference. Average texture. Not bad on a hot day, but I’d never want this in general.
