COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kellerweis is one of the only American Hefeweizens made using the traditional Bavarian style of open fermentation. This difficult and labor-intensive technique adds uncommon depth and flavor complexity. Our hazy-golden hefeweizen is deeply flavorful, refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. To serve, pour two-thirds into a glass, swirl and pour the rest.

Bottle. Nice Hefeweizen. Lots of citrus and spicy clove. Maybe a bit too much carbonation. Finish is crisp and a bit sour. Tasty.

Pours cloudy orange with a large fluffy white head. Smells like wheat, hints of yeasty bread, and mild banana and clove notes of the typical German Hefeweizen. Taste is light, mellow, wheaty with a very faint bitterness and hints of banana. Light-bodied with a smooth, velvety texture and average mouth-carbonation, Sierra Nevada Kellerweis Hefeweizen finishes light, but strongly, a solid wheat flavor.

255ml bottle from Great Grog. Cloudy pale yellow colour, good head. Dry grainy banana aroma. Sweet cereal biscuit banana flavour, spicy clove aftertaste.Sharp but light and refreshing. Easy to drink. Would be better if it came in a bigger bottle.

Hyfsat stort skum över den grumliga ölen. Framför allt citrus i aromen. I smaken hittas citrus och lite banan, men den är på tok för tunn. Att jämföra denna med en "tysk" är som att jämföra en cola från en sodastream med en Coca Cola.

Gulorange lätt grumlig öl utan den tyska weissbierens kraftiga äggviteskum. Doftar nästan ingen jäst utan bara citronig citrus. Citrusbeska och något jäst i smaken. Liknar mer en Zwickl än en German Hefeweisse.
