COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kellerweis is one of the only American Hefeweizens made using the traditional Bavarian style of open fermentation. This difficult and labor-intensive technique adds uncommon depth and flavor complexity. Our hazy-golden hefeweizen is deeply flavorful, refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. To serve, pour two-thirds into a glass, swirl and pour the rest.

Part of a mix a six from Party Source. This is a great beer. Pours a cloudy yellow/orange with little to no head with decent fizz. Aroma is hops, almost weed smell, banana, orange, clove, and citrus. Taste is the same. Easy finish. Delicious beer. God damnit I love Sierra Nevada.

Golden, opaque, medium/large foamy white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, citrus, floral hops. Taste sweet with a really well balanced, light sour and light bitter finish. Smooth, thick oily texture, low/medium carbonation. Really nice hefeweizen. Great beer.

Light overall taste. Nice golden color with little head when poured. Nice banana notes on the finishing end, but doesn’t linger too much on the palate.

Pours a glowing, slightly hazy orange-amber body. A foamy, one finger wide head slowly collapses to a fine lacing. Has a satisfying nose, full of yeast, hay, clove, cinnamon and hints of lactic acid, enjoyable balance between soft and spicy elements. Dough, white-bread yeast up front, soon joined by a flavorful spiciness of cloves and orange peel. The spices add to the smooth yeast impression as does the tingling carbonation. The wheat profile gets pleasantly subdued by a floral hop bite, which defines the finish by a slick slighty bitterness.

0.355l bottle. This is a cloudy good looking weiz. A bug fluffy head located on the top - bright white in color and the beer has the correct orangey look as well. Lots of wheat sweetness on the nose blended with the sweet ripe banana, eastery yeastery, orange zest and traces of cloves and white pepper. Just like it should smell! Easy light wheat flavors. It’s not thin or watery in the mouth and the bubbles ate sharp but about average. Lightdrinkable and quite refreshing to drink. The wheat sweetness shines through and it is again quite banana infused in the taste. Slightly peppery tail. Yeah, a really good non complicated heffe weiz. 17.05.2014

Bottle at Cafe Nero, august 4th 2014. Cloudy yellow body with a big white head. Aroma of bubble gum, banana, wheat, grass. Taste of citrus, banana, bubblegum and a light spicy finish with a mild wheat and yeast aftertaste. A proper hefeweizen.

Beautiful, cloudy, apricot hued pour with sticky resilient foam. Browned banana, zesty clove, distant mint and some mace; enormously herb forward with the ever balancing banana creaminess and doughy yeast for its pillowy center. Golden delicious apples offer a substantial sweetness and light acidity.

White dough and prickly light spice in the flavor with mild fruitiness bringing to mind Bartlett pears and pineapple, though the gentle banana notes are always the clearest. The wet dough sensation generally overwhelms the brisk spiciness.

This is amplified throughout the mushy, yeasty body. Zippy carbonation flashes briefly to be thoroughly softened before the finish. Lingering banana sweetness with the tiniest hint of goat milk. Generally flavorful example held back somewhat by textural issues and a boring yeast component.

Light orange cloudy body with big creamy head. Long lacing. Aromas orange, citrus, honey, hay. Palate tart fruity wheat yeasty. Carbonation is soft smooth and mouthful. Aftertaste is fruity little cereal, and yeasty. Overall average Weissbier. Nothing special here but drinkable.

Bottled 350ml. Average hazy golden look to it. Fresh smell of yeast and ripe bananas. Soft but full of flavour. Nice and friendly aftertaste.
