COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When empirical and creative impulses collide, the result is often timeless. The classic utility-art aesthetic of the coffee maker is an example of design and engineering working in concert. It is through similar cooperation that the simple bitter cocoa bean is transformed into a sweet treat. As scientists, our brewers utilize their materials to exacting standards. As artists, they couldn’t resist the temptation to combine the best flavors of two of our highly acclaimed Blackwater Series Imperial Stouts, Jahva and Choklat. Alone each is perfect, but together as Mokah, they are an inimitable expression of two of the world’s most sought after flavors. Enjoy Mokah stout with - or as - your favorite dessert! Cheers!

Thanks to Chipalsa for this one. Tulip pour. Nose is like sweet tootsie rolls. Loads of sweet chocolate malt and a hint of coffee roast. Pour was typical stout fashion with a thin head. Taste was mainly dry cacao and some bitter roasted coffee notes. Heavy on the chocolate. Good stuff.

Bottle at Gründerløkka Brygghus. Pours black with a tiny off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, coffee, roasted malt and alcohol. Less sweet than expected and well balanced with some bitterness. Some alcohol in the taste but mustly chocolate that finishes with a hint of coffee. A good dessert beer, but almost a bit heavy on the chocolate for my taste.

Draft at yardhouse. Dark brown, nearly black. A light web on top. Aroma is pure cookie, the dark biscuit beneath a thin mint, including the mint, or the cookie crumble beneath a Carvel ice cream cake. The first sip is boozy. Each sip thereafter is small because it feels pretty heavy. There is a ton of kahlua and chocolate liqueur, enough that it is overpowering and detracts from any underlying roast that might actually be there. Ganache and chocolate syrup. Not a lot of roast, either from coffee or from malt, which is the most disappointing thing about this beer. It’s also a bit of a booze bomb. Dessert-like but lacking the level of depth that would make it amazing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap in Winter Haven, pours a dark black with a beautiful mocha head. Aroma is coffee and Chocolate. Taste is rich, with chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Nice finish, great with desert . Quaff score ( drinkability with heart enjoyment ) 8 / 10 , better than all this fanfare about creme brûlée ...

On Tap. Pours a dark brown with a creamy brown head and mocha aroma. Flavor is big on coffee and java, along with chocolate and roasted malts, while sweet and creamy. Great, flavorful coffee stout.

Get ready for a huge beer with huge notes to it. Smells of coffee, vanilla and oak. Tastes of high mocha and coffee flavors with a chocolate finish. Plan on sharing this beer in the 22oz bottle, its a meal in a bottle!

Tastes delicious.. No surprise! Not a lot of coffee in the beer, but I don’t feel this takes away at all from the enjoyment of the beer. So good. I want more of this too! Wish this was my everyday beer at this moment!

Very similar to chokolat in that it smells and tastes very milk chocolatey. Not a lot of coffee and its grrreat!
