Uncivilized and aggressive this west coast styled IPA packs wicked hop flavors and aroma. Savage amounts of Simcoe, Columbus, and Cascade hops define this brews signature pine and citrus notes. Try with our smoked wings in the Killer sauce and run the risk of a shrunken head!

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with a one finger white head. Abundant carbonation allows a rocky head to be maintained nearly throughout the entire drink with tons of rocky lacing clinging to the glass. Aroma just screams west coast IPA. Tons and tons of citrus from the hops and is very "in your face." Pineapple, mango, and tangerine along with a solid bready malt base. Really a mouthwatering aroma. All of these wonderful characteristics continue over into the flavor. Tropical fruit immediately that just seems to spread across the mouth. There is a very juicy quality that I just love. Some light bread provides just enough malt to keep the hops balanced. High bitterness but not to the point of being overbearing or unpleasant. Mouthfeel is on the sticky and chalky side which I am not crazy about but it is a small price to pay. Overall, an absolutely amazing IPA out of Ohio that rivals the best coming out of California. I am so happy I found this beer and plan on picking up many more before heading back to TN.

Bottle. Pours golden amber with off-white had. Aroma is sweet fruity orange grapefruit piney. Taste is Taste is sweet malty hoppy with a piney grapefruit finish. Very well balanced with hoppy finish and good, however my preference is the less malty IPAs.

Pours a clear medium amber with a medium head of white foam. Nice citrus and pine aroma. Flavor is fairly good and somewhat sweet with just a hint of bitterness. Not too harsh. Good but not great.

Lots of citrus in this and a very nice malt backbone. Bitter finish. Bigger body here than most of the other hop bombs Ive had tonight. Good, but certainly not a 100/100 beer. Tap at city tap house.

Super solid ipa. Very fresh tasting with solid balance. Itís got the whole double ipa hops without the double ipa commitment to being hungover via 13% behemoth beer. I like it a lot.

2015 BJCP Category: 21A American IPA

AROMA: Fairly strong aroma of citrus and melon. Clean, bright scent with slight tea leaves or pine needles. 10/12

APPEARANCE: Orange proper hue; quite cloudy but carbonation is visible. Average, off-white, foamy head. Good retention and lacing. 2/3

FLAVOR: Intense dank bitterness. Delectable combination of fruit juice concentrate, bitter citrus pith and some pine/green tea on the finish. Malt is strong enough to offer balance, but is not sweet or distinguishable. 17/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium body; crisp and well carbonated. Alcohol is subtle and slightly warming but tolerable. Dry, slightly astringent aftertaste. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: A standard IPA that goes above and beyond. Palette is a bit familiar, but execution is impressive. 9/10
