Uncivilized and aggressive this west coast styled IPA packs wicked hop flavors and aroma. Savage amounts of Simcoe, Columbus, and Cascade hops define this brews signature pine and citrus notes. Try with our smoked wings in the Killer sauce and run the risk of a shrunken head!

Bottle from the Railroad St. B&G. Pours a golden honey color with nice head that leaves sticky lacing. Nose is an intoxicating combination of bubble gum, lime, pine, floral and cumquat. first sip is a beautiful juicy fruits, sweet malt, orang bitterness takes over and balances nicely. finish is juicy fruits with a clean lingering bitterness. amazing stuff.

On tap at Falling Rock Tap House. Clear bronze appearance with active carbonation and a fluffy beige head with excellent retention, eventually lacing the glass. Aroma of piney hops, floral notes, citrus zest and light hop resin. Similar flavor, adding medium to heavy bitterness. Medium body with a light dry feel and a lingering hop finish. Good, but not great.

Pours hazy orange-gold with a 3-finger off-white head. Resiny and piney hops aromas, maybe some caramel malt underneath. Body is medium and a bit oily. Just a touch of astringency to the finish. Flavors of citrus and piney hops, with a note of resin as it warms.

Smokin Joeís Pittsburgh bottle: pours light orange with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit and tropical fruits... Basically very west coast. Bitter and dry with loads of citrus. At 87 ibu it is not overly brutal. Still quite bitter. Quite good but not quite a hundred hundred.

Tap. Full bodied IPA. Light citrus and pine. Decent malt sweetness. Well balanced although the hops dont really pop like i would want them to.

BOTTLED ON 07/05/16. Nose strong paper with grapefruit, lemon, orange, lots of rind and some pine; pour clear orange-golden with a foamy off-white head. Taste very dry and strongly bitter though the hints of sweetness from the hops save it from brutality, crisp with citrus rind and heavy resin, spice; sunny with light alcohol showing, touch jammy, light-medium malt as insufficient support but not too bad, lightly airy and definitely oily medium-full body (makes me a touch queasy, to be honest). Some very nice, bold flavors here, but missing on some aspects and a little heavy and non-refreshing for the big points. [2016.08.04: 3.5]

Pours a hazy honey color with a pillowy white head which lingers and laces......aroma of tropical fruits, grapefruit, melon......taste is a touch thin, but seems to thicken on the back end as it warms slightly, melon, mild bitterness, grapefruit, touch peppery with a nice citrus finish. Wow.
