Bottle @ meeting. Aroma is deep liquorice, roasty malt, salmiak and more. Flavour is deep roasty liquorice and malt. A bit thinner then expected.

Brew #119. 9,0%ABV
Black colour, tan head. Aroma of liquorice, dark bitter chocolate, coffee, roasted malts and caramel. Flavour is rather sweet, liquorice, lots of malts, some caramel. Bit light body. Sweet bitter finish.

Bottle @ DRBM. A black colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma of coffee, with dark malts with fruit. The taste of dark malt, coffee with alcohol. It’s burny with some spices. The aftertaste of alcohol with spices, bitter wit some sweet.

Dark black, syrupy and brown head. Watery body though, with choclate and a malty sweetness in the aroma. Bitter finish. Not impressed. (DRbM 2011)

75cl Bottle at DRBM, brew #119. Black colour, light brown head. Aroma of hard roasted malts, bitter chocolate, dark fruits, alcohol. Flavour is rather sweet, chocolate, liquorice root, coffee, bitter finish with alcohol. Medium bodied. Sweeter than you expect from the nose.

Bottle @ DRBM, brew # 119. Black color. Aroma’s are sweet, roasted malts, coffee/mocha, sweet chocolate. Flavor is sweet, chocolate/mocha. Not bad.

Bottle at UDRBM. Black pour, thin tan head. Aroma is coffee, ash, tobacco and burnt malts. Flavor is roasted bitter malts and somewhat sweet. Decent balance. Nice brew.

Bottle, 75 oz. Comes ad Kølster Original Porter Brew No. 97. The color is dark brown with a reddish edge, and a large but slowly vanishing cappuccino-colored head. Aroma is a lot of roasted malts, hints of caramel and brown sugar. The flavor is intense sweet, quite nutty and almost without bitterness. Interesting notes of salt licorice. Medium body, Oily texture. Very soft carbonation. Sweet roasted finish. Fairly complex, but too soft and sweet for my palate.
