"Purchased this bottle at ""The Wine Cellar"" in Chester, MD. Paid $19 a bottle. Picked up 3 of them. Opened the first that night and served at 48 Degrees F for friends. A - Two finger head, golden colored and almost blinding golden color. Very bright and beautiful. S - Smells just like a 90 minute but about 30% stronger. This beer erupts into your nostrils and sticks around for a LONG time. T - Nectarine, grapefruit..just a lot of citrus notes on this beer. I’m getting some Nutmeg and Pine wood as well. Piney and Sweet. M - Medium bodied and very bitter. It lingers for a while and has an awesome carbonation! O - I’m so glad I bought three. The BA reviews had me wishing I had room for a full case in my car but this store only had 3 left and I picked them all up. This beer would be GREAT with sausages, bacon and fried jalapeño bites."

Poured from a bottle into a CBS snifter. A. Pours od medium-dark orange, slight 1mm foam that settles to light bubbles S. Smells of lots of sweet pine, and tons of orange peel and grape fruit. T. Tastes of sweet pine, orange and then more pine, and a sweet citrus and bitter end. M. Thin bodied, heavy carbonation, tingly feeling, slightly dry finish. O. A very good beer! Very refreshing, and easy to drink. Super smooth all the way through. A very good beer wirth searching out if your a DIPA fan!

2010 bottle, aging well. Pours a dark yellow that is cloudy and has a white head. Lots of lacing as this one goes down. Aromas of malt and flowers and citrus. Taste is alcohol, malts and the hops have subdued a bit due to age. Overall, this has aged well, and it really showcases the non hop aspects of this beer. Very enjoyable.

Cloudy gold color with a thick dense head that laces well. Nose is citrus, pine straw, wet grass. Bitter hop attack with a long slow clean citter finish.

2010 vintage. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a year and a half old Squall, but it did have the correct conditions. Pours out a deep golden hue, white head. Aromas are malty and sweet, almost making the beer seem heavy. The biggest shock was how the palate held up, the balance of malty and hoppy was wonderful. The sweeter malty notes hit up front and lasted a bit to the mid, while what was left of the hops finished off the beer with a long graceful finish. I actually prefer this one with age on it as opposed to fresh. Very well done!

750ml bottle pours a slightly cloudy amber color with a finger of off-white head that leaves some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrusy and foral hops with hints of caramel. Taste is dominated by the bitterness of the hops but there is enough malt backbone to balance things out. This is a strong hoppy IPA but with the nice balance, excellence arises.

Poured a slightly cloudy amber hue with a white head that had good retention. Aroma had strong grapefruit and pine hops, some strong caramel malts and a slight vanilla note. Flavor was bitterly sweet a good malty backbone and a nice citrus flavor, more orange then grapefruit. A nice warming presence from the alcohol. Finish was mostly smooth. Palate was moderate.
