This scintillating golden ale boasts a rich, fruity, and fresh aroma. And a light malty and sweet taste. It has a soft bitterness with a friendly aftertaste. A well-balanced blend of complexity and simplicity. La Trappe Blond continues to ferment in the bottle.

Big three-finger white pours onto golden clear body and stays as long as the beer lasts. Aroma is pepper, cloves, chlorine sweetness, some banana, some pear. Taste is fairly sweet until the aftertaste, which is actually quite dry. Good body for a pale-coloured ale.

Drought. Cloudy yellow, one finger creamy head. Aroma of belgian yeast, fruit, spice. Medium body. The flavour is very dry, hoppy, medium sour and fruity. That’s a unique brew which requires some preparation for starting to love it

Dorada pajiza, con muchísima espuma efervescente. Aroma dulce, plátano. Igual que el sabor, agradable al principio pero que acaba cansando. Cremosa en boca con buena carbonatación.

Copenhagen 4/6 2015. 75 cl bottle from Fakta. Shared with my father- and brother-in-law. Pours hazy yellow with very big head. Settles slowly. Aroma is pretty sweet. Caramel, toffee and some slightly fermented fruit. Medium carbonation. Taste follows the nose. Sweet toffee and caramel, wheat, yeast and a little alcohol. Fine light blonde - maybe a little bit too sweet for my taste.

The hazy golder yellow with a nice and compact white head invites to smell the nice aroma of toffe, caramel and banana (the latter more and more prominent as time passes). Unfortunatly for my tastes, blond Belgian Ales always lack something about the taste but this one in particular reminded me of German weiss for the banana taste, again. A good beer overall.

Nez: Malté, banane mûre, levure Bouche: Maltée, citron, banane, épicée La banane très présente en début de bouche et qui débouche sur des notes sucrées qui prennent toute la place. Finale fruitée et sèche
